The Seneca County Park District
operates five parks.

In addition, the park district has
cooperative agreements with  the

Opportunity Park and Tiffin
University to make
Tiffin University
Nature Preserve open to the public.

The park district was created in 1996
with the goal of establishing and
preserving natural, rural, historical
and cultural areas for the citizens of
Seneca County.

The district is managed by a park
director under the authority of five
commissioners appointed by the
county's probate judge.
