The first 5K Prediction Run/Walk was held in July of 2005.  The event, which is held at 9:00AM on the
last Saturday of July, has grown by bits and pieces. The event is held at Garlo Heritage Nature Preserve
and is a 5K flat course over grass and trails through the scenic nature preserve. Participants predict
their final time and may run and or walk. The first 20 participants who predict their time closest to the
actual finish time receive an award. No watches are permitted during the event. Registration is free but
donations are accepted. A T-shirt can be received for a $10 donation.

    In 2011, following the 5K run, the addition of a Country Cruise Car Show was added from 11:00 AM
to 3:00 PM and has a $10 registration fee. Activities include a 50/50 drawing, food, music and more.
The top 10 awards conclude the event at 3:00 PM.
