NOTICE OF INTENT TO SELL PROPERTY BY INTERNET AUCTION IN CALENDAR YEAR 2021

Resolution #6.8.2021-1, adopted by the Board of Park Commissioners for the Seneca County Park District on June 8, 2021 authorizes the disposal of the Seneca County Park District's personal property that is unneeded, obsolete or unfit for the use for which it was acquired, including motor vehicles, road machinery, equipment, tools, supplies and furnishings by internet auction in calendar year 2021.

Internet auctions will be conducted through www.govdeals.com with whom the Seneca County Park District has contracted.

All items will be offered for sale as is, where is, with Seneca County Park District making no warranty, guarantee, or representation of any kind expressed or implied as to the condition of said items. Items will be listed for a minimum of ten (10) days.

This notice is posted on the website of the Seneca County Park District which can be found at www.senecacountyparks.com with a link to the Gov Deals website accessed by clicking on the designated “GovDeals” tab under “About Us".

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Internet auction will be conducted in the following manner under the following general terms and conditions:

1.) All auctions shall be conducted by a representative of the Board, that being: GovDeals, a Delaware corporation having its principal place of business at 5907 Carmichael Place, Montgomery, AL. 36117, (800) 613-0156. This representative can be found on the Internet at www.govdeals.com or by viewing the Seneca County Park District website at  www.senecacountyparks.com and accessing the GovDeals link.
2.) Any property listed and sold by Internet auction shall be on an “as is” basis. The Board expressly disclaims any and all warranties of any kind, whether expressed or implied. The bidder purchases the property at his or her own risk.
3.) In no event shall Seneca County Park District, its Board of Commissioners, its officers, employees or agents be liable to a bidder or any other person or entity for any claim, damage or loss whatsoever.
4.) The number of days of bidding on the property prior to sale, as specified in ORC 307.12, will be at least 10 days, including Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays.
