Spend the morning looking and listening to the sights and sounds of nature in the preserve as you walk the trails with Linda Rose. Binoculars are helpful. This walk qualifies for the Walking Stick Program and lasts about 1 ¼ hour.  Registration is required.

Join Linda Rose as you walk the trails and learn about the bluebirds at the park, their lifestyles, eating habits, and trail monitoring. Registration is required.

For ages birth to 18 months. Spend the morning with Linda Rose as we read the story, walk along the trail, and learn about turtles. Live specimens on-site.  Come in a front pack, backpack, stroller, or just walk. Registration is required.

Spend the evening with Linda Rose on the pond paddling around and enjoying the sights that nature has to offer. Canoes, kayaks, paddles, and life jackets are provided. Registration is required.

Join Linda Rose as we create our own baskets using a plastic basket to weave. Baskets are provided, but bring your own choice of yarn and scissors. Registration is required.

For ages 18 to 36 months. Join Linda Rose as we learn about the fish in the pond. Fishing poles and bait are provided, or bring your own. Registration is required.

Any combination of father-son-grandson can join Linda Rose for a fun-filled morning of outdoor experiences—fishing, hiking, canoeing/kayaking, and open-fire cooking. Fun for all ages. Registration is required.

For ages 3 to 5 years. Join Linda Rose as we explore and do some pretend cooking in the “mud kitchen.” Come prepared to get a little dirty. Registration is required.

Join Linda Rose as she walks the trails seeing what the morning has to offer. Will there be wildflowers, critters on the trails, or birds soaring high? It's sure to be fun and interesting! This walk will last about 1 ¼ hours and qualifies for the Walking Stick Program. Registration is required.

Join Linda Rose as we walk under the light of the "Strawberry Moon". This walk will last about 1 to 1 ¼ hours and qualifies for the Walking Stick Program. Registration is required.

For ages 12 to 17 years and older. Join Linda Rose as we learn about the river and then explore who and what lives there. Registration is required.

For ages 5 to 12 years. Join Linda Rose as we explore the creek and find the perfect rock to paint. Registration is required.
