Nature Education Building

Show your support to your community with a donation to fund the Seneca Parks Nature Education Building!

When the community was asked for their input in creating the 2020 county-wide Multi-Jurisdictional Comprehensive Plan, the establishment of a nature center in Seneca County was deemed a top priority by the general public. The Seneca Parks are now implementing the plan you requested! The Seneca Parks Nature Education Building design was carefully considered to incorporate both indoor and outdoor public use areas so individuals of all abilities may engage equally, even in inclement weather. The main portion of the structure consists of a sizable education-multipurpose room that is connected to a covered outdoor meeting space. Due to its location—in the middle of Seneca County's two most populous cities—Fruth Wetland Nature Preserve was selected as the site for this facility.
