The Seneca County Park District will be holding a lottery drawing for a limited number of permits to archery deer hunt at Clary-Boulee McDonald Nature Preserve located at 4747 W. State Route 12, Kansas OH 44841. Hunting will be allowed at this location beginning October 3rd, 2026 and continuing through January 31st, 2027 for those selected through the lottery, and winners will be assigned a time during either Session 1 (Oct 3 - Oct 31), Session 2 (Nov 1 - Nov 29), or Session 3 (Jan 3 - Jan 31). Winners will be assigned one of the two available designated hunting areas, Hunting unit A or Hunting Unit B. Registration is open through 9/13/2026.
Eligibility Requirements:
This registration is for ONE participant. Each chosen participant may bring one guest. All guests must meet eligibility requirements listed above. If you wish to register more than one person, you must complete an additional registration. Failure to provide guest information upon request, or providing false information will result in disqualification from hunting.
Sessions: overall hunting season will be divided into three sessions:
Drawing will be held on or about September 15th and all participants selected will be notified via email. With the notification, hunters will receive a sheet to print:
