Nature Walk Bird Talk

Spend the morning looking and listening to the sights and sounds of nature in the preserve as we walk the trails. Binoculars are helpful. This walk qualifies for the Walking Stick Program and lasts about 1 ¼ hours. Registration is required.

Join Linda Rose on the trail as we discuss our spring-returning feathered friends. Learn about their nesting habits, food supply, life cycles, and more. Nesting boxes are on site to explore and examine. Dress to be outdoors for this event. Registration is required.

Backpackin' Babies—Spring Walk

5:00 pm - 6:00 pm Forrest Nature Preserve
For ages birth to 18 months. Babies need the great outdoors as much as older youth and adults do. They need exposure to fresh air and new environments, and they learn more than we think. Spend the afternoon with Linda Rose on the trail as we look for spring wildflowers. Registration required.
