For ages birth to 18 months. Babies need the great outdoors as much as older youth and adults do. Spend the afternoon with Linda Rose as we read the story while walking along the trail. Come in a front pack, backpack, stroller, or just walk. Registration is required.

Spend the morning looking and listening to the sights and sounds of nature in the preserve as you walk the trails with Linda Rose. Binoculars are helpful. This walk qualifies for the Walking Stick Program and lasts about 1 ¼ hour. Registration is required.

Join Linda Rose as you walk the trails and learn about the fish in the ponds. Then try your skill at catching some. All fishing supplies are provided or bring your own. This is a catch-and-release event. Registration is required.

For ages 18 to 36 months. Join Linda Rose as we learn all about worms—why do they have 5 hearts, what do they eat, and more? Then examine some worms up close! Registration is required.

For ages 5 to 12 years. Join Linda Rose as we explore the world of bats—why they are important, what is happening to their populations, and many other bat facts. Registration is required.

Any combination of mother-daughter-granddaughter can join Linda Rose for a fun-filled morning of outdoor experiences—fishing, hiking, canoeing/kayaking, and open-fire cooking. Fun for all ages. Registration is required.

For ages 3 to 5 years. Join Linda Rose as we look for and learn about dandelions along the trails. Registration is required.

Join Linda Rose as we gather, prepare, and eat wild edibles found in your own backyard. Start your own Wild Edibles Cook Book. All supplies provided. Registration is required.

For youth ages 12 to 17 years and older. Join Linda Rose as we learn about wetlands and explore who and what lives there. Rubber boots are highly recommended. Registration is required.

Join Linda Rose as she walks the trails, seeing what the evening has to offer. Will there be wildflowers, critters on the trails, or birds soaring high? It is sure to be fun and interesting! This walk will last about 1 ¼ hour and qualifies for the Walking Stick Program. Registration is required.
