Join Linda Rose as we walk under the light of the “Flower Moon.”  This walk will last about 1 to 1 ¼ hours and qualifies for the Walking Stick Program.  Registration is required.

Spend the morning looking and listening to the sights and sounds of nature in the preserve as you walk the trails with Linda Rose.  Binoculars helpful.  This walk qualifies for the Walking Stick Program and lasts about 1 ¼ hour. Registration is required.

Spend the morning walking the trails learning about seeds—their life cycle, fruit or veggie and then create your own seed planting.  Bring an old shoe to plant in. Registration is required.

For ages birth to 18 months.  Babies need the great outdoors as much as older youth and adults do.  Spend an hour with Linda Rose exploring the trails while we look for frogs and learn frog facts.   Come in a front pack, backpack, stroller or just walk.   Registration is required.

For ages 18 to 36 months.  Join Linda Rose as we walk the trails looking and listening for fox along the way.  Can you find all of the foxes? Registration is required.

Join Linda Rose as we walk the trails searching for the last of the spring wildflowers.   This walk will last about 1 ¼ hour and qualifies for the Walking Stick Program.  Registration is required.

Any mother-daughter-grand-daughter combination is welcome to spend the morning hiking, fishing, canoeing/kayaking and journaling. End the morning with a campfire treat. Registration is required.

For youth ages 12 to 17 years and older. Join Linda Rose as we learn about the lost art of soap carving. Please bring a bar of soap. All other supplies provided. Registration is required.

For ages 3 to 5 years. Join Linda Rose as we take a walk along the trails looking under logs and rocks for worms. Learn all about their anatomy and benefits as you examine what you find. Registration is required.

Ohio 4-H and the Seneca County Parks are joining together to offer activities and experiences about birds—identification, houses and nests, migration, anatomy and flight. Registration is required.

For ages 5 to 12 years. Join Linda Rose in the kitchen as we create some awesome mud recipes. Dress to get a little dirty. Registration is required.

Everyone needs a rock—a special rock.  Join Linda Rose as we pick and choose a favorite rock and then paint it to your liking, Registration is required.

o help celebrate 30 years, the Seneca County Park District will host a “park scrabble” game  Hike the trail looking for letters to then place on the giant scrabble board.  How many “park” words can you create? Registration is required.
