During the "Seasons Change Series" we will discover how habitats change and wildlife adapts from season to season. We will look for indicators of autumn, talk about changing leaves, where the birds and insects go, and more. Registration is required.

Spend the morning looking and listening to the sights and sounds of nature in the preserve as you walk the trails with Linda Rose.  Binoculars helpful.  This walk qualifies for the Walking Stick Program and lasts about 1 ¼ hour.  Registration is required.

Walk the trails as you learn about leaf shapes, sizes, why they change colors and a few other interesting facts, then end with a leaf craft. All ages welcome. Registration is required.

Spend the afternoon with Linda Rose on the pond paddling around and enjoying the sights that nature has to offer. Canoes, kayaks, paddles and life jackets are provided. Registration is required.

For ages birth to 18 months. Babies need the great outdoors as much as older youth and adults do. Spend the afternoon with Linda Rose exploring the trails while we look for pumpkins.  Come in a front pack, backpack, stroller or just walk.  Registration is required.

Program intended for ages 12 - 17. Come learn the basics of archery! Join a naturalist to learn about archery and try your hand at target shooting. Parents must be present at all times. Registration is required.

Join a naturalist for a guided birding walk at Garlo Heritage Nature Preserve. Bring your binoculars! Registration is required..

Join a naturalist and paddle the pond at Garlo Heritage Nature Preserve. Enjoy a fall evening with an interpretive paddle, viewing the fall colors. This paddle is beginner-friendly. Kayaks, paddles, and life jackets are provided. Registration is required.

Join Linda Rose for an afternoon of creating a fall placemat. All supplies provided. Just bring your creativity! Registration is required.

Join a naturalist for a guided birding walk at Steyer Nature Preserve. Bring your binoculars! Registration is required.

For youth ages 12 to 17 years and older. Join Linda Rose for a leaf painting picture/project. All supplies provided. Registration is required.

Join us for a picnic afternoon to commemorate this historic milestone as we play games, win prizes, have a picnic lunch, and explore the preserve. General admission is FREE. Commemorative picnic totes and meals are available for purchase in advance.

Join Linda Rose as we walk under the light of the “Hunter’s Moon.”  This walk will last about 1 to 1 ¼ hours and qualifies for the Walking Stick Program.  Registration is required.

Join a naturalist to learn about wildlife watching. View tracks and furs from different wildlife species, and try to catch a glimpse of wildlife in action. Registration is required.

For ages 5 to 12 years. Join Linda Rose as we explore the forest, looking for natural items to make an artistic rubbing with crayons. All supplies provided. Just bring your creativity! Registration is required.

To celebrate Seneca County Park Districts 30th Anniversary, join Linda Rose for a short hike and then a round of Park Trivia. Registration is required.
