SASQUATCH RETURNS!
The sightings are confirmed—Sasquatch is back in your Seneca Parks this summer!
Sasquatch enjoyed Seneca County Parks so much last summer that he is returning again this summer. There will be five locations in which to find him. Each location has specific dates listed below.
SOLVE THE PUZZLE – WIN A PRIZE!
Five locations. Fifteen alphanumeric clues. One hidden phrase.
Squatch is on the move, and it’s up to you to track him down, crack the code, and solve the puzzle before he vanishes once again!
At each location, Sasquatch will be holding some numbers. These numbers will need to be changed into letters from the alphabet (1=A, 2=B, etc with 26=Z). Do not remove the numbers from Sasquatch, but take a picture or just remember the numbers as you will need them to complete the challenge. Once you have visited all five locations and have all 15 numbers transcribed into letters, unscramble the letters to complete five words.
Once you have unscrambled the phrase, please submit to Lrose@senecacountyparks.com by October 31, 2025 to claim a small prize.
AUGUST 1 - 14
Located in the most eastern part of the county, this nature preserve has grasslands, a small woodlot and a small wet area.
AUGUST 16 - SEPTEMBER 2
Once owned by ODNR, this county park joins a Tiffin city nature preserve.
SEPTEMBER 4 - 18
A cooperative park, this preserve is close to a caring facility should you have a panic attack upon finding Sasquatch.
SEPTEMBER 20 - OCTOBER 2
One of our newest preserves, a dam used to be there.
OCTOBER 4 - 17
A cooperative park, an athletic facility is next door.
