Grand opening and trail ribbon-cutting!
Join us for the GRAND OPENING of our newest nature preserve! The Clary-Boulee McDonald Nature Preserve was donated by the Black Swamp Conservancy in 2024. The Seneca Parks has since developed the entry area and two loop trails for public use. Both trails begin at the parking lot on the north side of the preserve, located at 5090 TR 36, Kansas, Ohio. The one-mile trail extends down through the wetlands while the 0.4 mile trail provides a quick view of this H2Ohio sponsored water quality project. Both trail surfaces consist of a mix of grass and natural surface, and will be seasonally wet in the 162 acre preserve located about 2 miles southwest of Bettsville. No registration required.
