Join Linda Rose as we walk under the light of the “Snow Moon.”  This walk will last about 1 to 1 ¼ hours and qualifies for the Walking Stick Program.  Registration is required.

For ages 3 to 5 years.  Join Linda Rose as we take a walk along the trails looking for signs of this spring weather predictor.  Learn about his life—what he eats, where he sleeps and does he really predict the weather? Registration is required.

For ages birth to 18 months.  Spend an hour with Linda Rose exploring the trails and bird feeding stations learning about our feathered friends.  Come in a front pack, backpack, stroller or just walk.   Registration is required.

Spend the morning looking and listening to the sights and sounds of nature in the preserve as you walk the trails with Linda Rose.  Binoculars helpful.  This walk qualifies for the Walking Stick Program and lasts about 1 ¼ hour.  Registration is required.

Spend the morning walking the trails learning about the Skunks of Ohio—their habitat requirements, mating rituals, and lifestyles. Registration is required.

For ages 18 to 36 months. Join Linda Rose as we walk the trails looking and listening for owls along the way. Learn about the calls, sizes, habitats and what their favorite food is. Registration is required.

Join Linda Rose as we walk the trails discussing “sweet treats.”   This walk will last about 1 1/4 hours and qualifies for the Walking Stick Program.  Registration is required.

For youth ages 12 to 17 years and older. Join Linda Rose as we learn the lost art of rug braiding. Please bring a pair of scissors and scraps of cotton material. All other supplies provided. Registration is required.

For ages 5 to 12 years. Join Linda Rose as we make a valentine for the birds, discuss what they eat and who may come to you feeder. Registration is required.

Join Linda Rose for a “pointy painting” session.   All supplies provided—just bring your creativity with you. Registration is required.

Spend the morning on a park scavenger hunt as the park district celebrates 30 years of service to the community. Registration is required.
