Join Linda Rose as we walk under the light of the “Pink Moon.”  This walk will last about 1 to 1 ¼ hours and qualifies for the Walking Stick Program.  Registration is required.

For ages birth to 18 months.  Babies need the great outdoors as much as older youth and adults do.  Spend an hour with Linda Rose reading and exploring the storybook trail.  Come in a front pack, backpack, stroller or just walk. Registration is required.

Spend the morning looking and listening to the sights and sounds of nature in the preserve as you walk the trails with Linda Rose.  Binoculars helpful.  This walk qualifies for the Walking Stick Program and lasts about 1 ¼ hour. Registration is required.

Spend the morning walking the trails learning about the Dandelion. Some call it a weed, some call it beautiful. Come learn all the benefits that dandelions give us. Registration is required.

For ages 18 to 36 months. Join Linda Rose as we walk the trails looking under logs and rocks for wiggly things. Registration is required.

For ages 3 to 5 years.  Join Linda Rose as we learn about Ohio’s springtime birds and create  a tasty treat for them. Registration is required.

Ohio 4-H and the Seneca County Parks are joining together to offer activities and experiences about fish—identification and anatomy, equipment and tackle box, knots and casting. Registration is required.

Join Linda Rose as we walk the trails looking for and identifying spring wildflowers in the preserve. Learn some interesting and fun facts. This walk will last about 1 ¼ hours and qualifies for the Walking Stick Program. Registration is required.

Visit our Open House and plan your next event at the Teach Nature Education Center!

For ages 5 to 12 years. Join Linda Rose as we search for those little elusive salamanders hiding in the leaf litter. Learn some interesting fact and have fun looking for them. Registration is required.

For youth ages 12 to 17 years and older. Join Linda Rose as we explore and learn about this floodplain restoration project. Wear boots for exploring the wetlands and identifying what we find. Registration is required.

Join Linda Rose for a “flower pot collage” project.  Please bring scissors and scraps of  fabric. All other supplies provided. Registration is required.

In observance of the Seneca County Park District’s 30th Anniversary, join park staff for a nature craft. Have an interesting nature item, feel free to bring it along. All nature items and supplies will be provided. Just bring your creativity for a fun time. Registration is required.
